What comes out of the workshop
Ready, Set, Bingo!
A retro bingo-hall party game where every ball is a trivia question. Play pretend rivals on one phone, or the whole room on everyone's.
Or make a game about your own people.
Real screens from the app.
Want to try it early? Ask for a spot on the beta list. Not everyone gets one, but we'd like to hear from you.
Old Maid
The grown-up Old Maid: the rules you know, dealt at a candlelit table in a gothic manor. Rest a finger on a card and watch the guest's face.
She's lovely. Until you're holding her.

Battle Go
Go, the ancient board game computers took decades to beat, played by its real rules with stones that have feelings. Capture some and they stand up on the board and fight about it.
An ancient game with anger issues.

What gets made
Any platform it belongs onHow the shop works
Useful doesn't have to be boring.
Software that does its job, has a bit of character, and doesn't have a second job working on you.
Useful
One clear job, done properly, then finished.
Quiet
No streaks, no feed, no reminders to come back. Notifications are for things you asked about. You may continue living your life.
Private
No account to make. We don't need to know who you are.
Personal
Software can have character. Most of it forgot.
Everything in it is in it. Ignore the tip jar and nothing changes.
The whole app, free, up to a point. When you need more of it, one purchase, made once. The free part is meant to be used, not sampled.
A price you can see before you buy, paid once.
Making it better is free. Fixes, speed and polish are maintenance, not products.
Something extra, like a holiday pack, listed on the app's page before you buy. Never a piece of the original job held back.
If an app keeps doing its job without our servers, you buy it once. A subscription has to buy an ongoing service, not just be an ongoing charge.
Nothing you have already paid for moves behind a new price. Not now, not in version four.

The cooler
Out back, where it hangsOut back
One workbench. The lights stay on.
Most of it starts as somebody being annoyed at an app that used to be simple.
Hanging in here now: two tags with the names scratched out. Not saying yet. When something's ready for other people, it moves up front.
Wish somebody would just make the app?
The one that does one thing, with no account and no nagging. Tell us what it is. We can't build them all, but a good idea might end up on a hook.

Any app, any questionA person reads it.
Send us a message about any of the apps: a question, a bug, an idea, or the app you wish somebody would make. It all lands in the same inbox.
Your name, your email address and your message are emailed to the shop. They are used to answer you.
Privacy
Yours, not ours.
Nothing here is built to collect your data or to track you. What you put into an app stays on your device, or in your own cloud account if you turn that on. Where an app does talk to something, its own privacy policy names it.
Two things on this page talk to someone else: the contact form above, which emails your message to the shop, and the song player at the very bottom, which comes from Apple Music and is covered by Apple's own privacy policy.
If that ever has to change, the choice gets made for the person using it rather than for the revenue, and not quietly.
